Will the 2025 NAWEA/WindTech conference be virtual this year?
No, this year the conference will be held exclusively in person. It’ll take place in Dallas, TX with the graduate symposium taking place at the UTD Alumni Center and the main conference taking place at the Renaissance Hotel. We can’t wait to see you there – in person!
Is there a chance the NAWEA/WindTech 2025 conference will be cancelled or postponed?
We’re happy to confirm that the NAWEA/WindTech 2025 conference will occur this year (October 15 – 17, 2025) – without postponement or cancellation. Make sure you secure your tickets fast to ensure you receive the best pricing possible.
Will there be government rates available for the conference hotel?
Yes, the Renaissance Hotel is offering both government rates (which fall within the government per diem requirements) and non-governmental room rates for our attendees. Make sure you book through our link to get the best deal before rooms fill up.
What airport is closest to the conference venue?
The main conference venue is the Renaissance Hotel Dallas (900 E. Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX). Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is 25 miles from the hotel and Dallas Love Field is 16 miles from the venue.
I’m only going to the graduate student symposium – do I need to buy a full conference ticket?
No, you only need to purchase a ticket for the graduate student symposium taking place on October 14, 2025 at the UTD Alumni Center. Full conference tickets are separate for the conference taking place October 15- 17, 2025 at the Renaissance Hotel.
