Presentations and Posters

Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • Each speaking slot is 20 minutes long: 15 minutes for presentations and a 5 minute period for questions and the transition to the next speaker.
  • Please bring your laptop to present. (The conference will not provide laptops.)
  • The conference venue will provide common video connection cables (i.e., hdmi, usb-c, and vga); however, please bring your own cables for redundancy.
  • The conference venue will provide a clicker to advance slides; however, please bring your own devices for redundancy. Please make sure to bring a usb adapter if necessary for your device – also for redundancy.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • The printed posters must be exactly 30" by 40". (Portrait or landscape formats
  • are both fine.)
  • The poster reception will be on the first night of the conference, Wednesday, October 15 th from 5:30 – 7:45pm.
  • A foam poster board  (with poster number)  will be provided on which to mount your poster. Pushpins will be provided to fasten the poster on the foam board.
  • Posters will be numbered by the Oxford technical program system. Simply click on the Wednesday 17:30 session, and you will find your poster number.
  • Posters will need to be placed on display by the presenter in the Atrium on Wednesday (10/15), between 3 pm and 5 pm.
  • Poster presenters must be accessible and ready to discuss their posters for the duration of the reception.
  • Poster evaluation will begin at 6:15 pm and end by 7:45 pm.
  • The posters can remain in the Atrium until the end of the Conference. The posters should be collected by the owner before they leave the Conference. Uncollected posters will be disposed of.
